Sunless tanning vs. UV tanning – Which is better?

As long as media continues to extol radiant sun-kissed complexions more people will be willing to experiment different methods of tanning and tanning products. Self-tanners costs as low as $6-$9 and for the most expensive ones they go for $ 75.

This is the most popular form of sunless tanning. It uses synthetic UV rays to produce the skin pigmentation .Tanning beds vary in intensities and levels. One tanning session in a tanning bed costs $ 20 but it can extend up to $50 per session depending on the tanning bed intensities. Tanning beds are not different from sunbathing since the skin damage potential is the same. You should not use tanning beds frequently or spend much time in them since they can damage your skin in a very negative way. Tanning bed end result lasts for 10 days.


Sunlight is the only natural way to get the most natural tan. Many people who live close to the beach always lay out under the sun working on their tans. Sunbathing is the most cost –effective method to achieve a tan you yearn for. The only thing you need is a big outdoor area where you can lay under the sun since sunbathing is free.Exposing yourself to the sun for long is harmful to your health. It can cause skin cancer, wrinkles, and excessive drying. Melanoma is a deadly skin cancer that is highly linked to sun exposure. Sunbathing natural tan can last for 10 days but it all depends on your maintenance.


Sunless tanning is better compared to UV tanning since your skin is not exposed to any burning. Sunless tanning saves on your time and money. A self-tanning lotion or mousse can last for three sessions and the maintenance of the tan is easy.Using tanning beds or sunbathing  exposes your skin to skin cancer risk and the maintenance is expensive.…
